Quarantine

is a group of people working together as artists and producers who are united by an interest in everyday life. Our work across performance and other forms deals with the politics and aesthetics of contemporary experience and how we relate to one another.

Rooted in Manchester, England since 1998, we make and tour our work around the world.

Work
Taking place around, throughout and from the balcony of Battersea Arts Centre, A Public Address drew on Quarantine’s 28-year history of dismantling conventions and collaborating with all kinds of people.
Performance
12 Last Songs is a durational piece by Quarantine about labour – the work that we do. Taking place over 12 hours, it is part-performance, part-exhibition of people.
Work
Telescope is a live exhibition of borrowed belongings, and their owners’ thoughts about where they themselves belong.
