Quarantine

is a group of people working together as artists and producers who are united by an interest in everyday life. Our work across performance and other forms deals with the politics and aesthetics of contemporary experience and how we relate to one another.  

Rooted in Manchester, England since 1998, we make and tour our work around the world.

12 Last Songs

12 Last Songs is a durational piece by Quarantine about labour – the work that we do. Taking place over 12 hours, it is part-performance, part-exhibition of people.

Building of spines

A book is in the library and a library is in the book. Building of spines is a project by Quarantine, created by lead artist Kate Daley. It happens over seven days in a library. During that time a book is researched, written, edited, printed and bound by hand.

No Such Thing

Our smallest and most intimate project. A conversation between strangers over a meal. No Such Thing is a framework for conversation between 2 people who might not otherwise meet: an ephemeral encounter between strangers, shaped, experienced, and remembered by those 2 people alone.
