Old people, children and animals

How long have we got? There are 15 performers in Old people, children and animals. Some are in their sixties and seventies, some are teenagers, one's a four-year old and some are animals. None of them are actors.

They've got some questions for you about who we are and what kind of world we want to live in. Some are about this show. What is an audience for? Is that animal performing? Can we get changed? Should that child even be here? Is this for real? Does she know what's she's doing? Why should we never work with children or animals? And what are we responsible for?

Quarantine continues its exploration of the theatre of everyday life. There'll be dancing and music and you might want to join in the singing.

Old people, children and animals is a co-production with Contact and Tramway, supported by Arts Council England, the Lankelly Chase Foundation and the Granada Foundation.
