The Soldier's Song is a project exploring the world of currently serving British soldiers through sound.

What do they choose to listen to? When? Why? What’s the official soundtrack? What does Iraq sound like to them?

We are currently looking for soldiers who are willing to give us their favourite tunes.

We want to explore this world apart from the civilian world with its own rules, codes – and sounds. It seems that we don’t find out about people fighting in our name until they break the rules, or die, or publish a bestseller based on their experiences. We want to know about them now.
