Make-believe

Make-believe
is a piece of theatre which interrogates belief - what it is, what it means to believe in something, how belief develops in the individual, what's going on in the brain when we believe, how difficult it is to 'suspend disbelief' in a theatre...

It will be created with and performed by performers and real-life partners Yusra Warsama and Marcus Hercules and their 2 year old son Jaziel, along with two more performers.  We're currently seeking one more performer - a dancer with choreographic skills, male or female.

Make-believe will open at Contact in Manchester at the end of October 2009 and then tour in the UK until mid-December.
